Next, dive into consumer fraud management and fraud dispute reporting. Explore the different types of consumer fraud and current fraud trends. Learn about the services Visa provides to help you manage fraud, as well as fee-based services available to enhance fraud management.
Continue by exploring fraud risk management for acquirers. Discover how acquirers can manage fraud and risk while working with merchants and other payment acceptance entities. Learn about the Visa Acceptance Risk Standard (VARS), which outlines essential guidelines and protocols established by Visa to manage and mitigate risks associated with card acceptance, as well as the key control requirements for acquirers sponsoring third-party agents to effectively manage risks and ensure compliance with VARS. Furthermore, dive into the Visa compliance programs for acquirers, including the Visa Integrity Risk Program (VIRP), Visa Acquirer Monitoring Program (VAMP) and Account Information Security (AIS), designed to ensure the safety, security and integrity of Visa’s payments network.
Conclude the self-paced learning section of the course by reviewing the fundamentals of issuer fraud risk management and how issuers manage third-party agents and card vendors.
