Blended learning offers you multiple benefits. Key learning concepts can be consumed at your own pace, taking advantage of Visa University’s extensive library of on-demand videos. By reviewing this content on your own schedule, it allows the course trainer to maximize the live session days, focusing on current and relevant case studies and industry trends. You’ll also benefit by working collaboratively with your peers as you engage in discussions and examine real-world scenarios.
How it works
Self-paced learning (opens two weeks prior to live sessions)
Your journey begins with the self-paced learning component, which includes a mix of videos, virtual discussions and knowledge checks. This content covers essential conceptual knowledge and principles of the topic you’ll be exploring. You can complete these sections at your own pace, allowing you to absorb the material thoroughly and revisit any concepts as needed.
To ensure a practical and impactful learning experience, we strongly encourage you to complete the self-paced learning sections prior to attending the live class sessions.
Pre-class office hour (occurs the Friday prior to live sessions)
The pre‑class office hour is hosted by your class moderator. During this time, the moderator will walk you through how to access the course and key features of the learning platform, confirm that you can access the platform and complete the required self‑paced learning and provide a preview of the upcoming live class sessions. The moderator can also answer logistical and platform‑related questions to help ensure you are prepared for the live learning experience.
Live class sessions (two days, four to six hours per day)
The live class sessions, taught by Visa University trainers and payments industry leaders, span two days and are designed to help you apply the knowledge you gained through the self-paced learning section by exploring current and relevant interactive case studies.
During these sessions, you'll work collaboratively with your peers, engage in discussions and examine real-world scenarios.
