Learn how fraud occurs during account opening and early account life and where issuers are most often exposed.
In this virtual, instructor-led course, you will build a practical foundation in application fraud typologies, fraudster methods in digital onboarding and the issuer risk frameworks used to organize prevention, detection, investigation and response. You will examine controls across the application lifecycle, including identity proofing, decisioning, manual review and early life monitoring. You’ll also discover how weaknesses in design, execution and measurement contribute to losses.
Using a practical maturity model, you will assess current-state capabilities, identify control and operational gaps and define prioritized actions to strengthen application fraud defenses in real-world issuer environments.
